The upgrade of the well proven QuintSonic coating thickness gauge combines measuring system and evaluation software in an ultrasonic sensor directly connected to an industrial tablet. QuintSonic T measures the individual thickness of up to 8 layers on different substrates (e.g. metal, plastics, GFRP, CRFP, WPC, fibre reinforced composites) using the ultrasonic run-time method. Measurement of all layers is performed in only one operation. QuintSonic T: All measuring parameters on one screen QuintSonic T measures of up to eightcoatings in a single operation. It can measure polymer coatings such as paints, varnishes and synthetic material, as well as glass, ceramic or metallic coatings on virtually any substrate. Precise and easy to handle, QuintSonic T can measure all typical coating systems such as: * Lacquers on synthetic material * Synthetic material on wood * Glass on metal * and many more. Featuring a generous 8-inch display, QuintSonic offers a user-friendly overview of the result of measurement as well as the corresponding course of the ultrasonic signal (A-scan). Parameters for signal adjustment are displayed simultaneously and can thus bie adapted to the current measurement with significant time savings. Subsequient adjustment of parameters is also possible through the new memory option for A-scans. In addition, QuintSonic T is characterized by simple handling via touch screen and intuitive user guidance. The measuring program also offers a clear data structure with integrated test report generation. QuintSonic T is also ideally suited for harsher environments due to IP 67 & MIL-STD 810 G and extremely resistant Gorilla® glass.

Coating Thickness Gauges

Ideally suited to measuring coating thickness in virtually any single or multi-layered coatings. The GalvanoTest uses the coulometric method to measure galvanised coatings such as chrome, nickel, cadmium, copper, brass, silver, gold, tin or zinc both on metals and non-metals. The anodic dissolution method, also known as the coulometric method, functions similarly to the electroplating process: an electrolyte separates individual metal coatings from the substrate with the help of an electric current. By measuring the current and time, the GalvanoTest determines the thickness of the separated coating. The GalvanoTest coating thickness measurement gauge is available in two variants: * GalvanoTest 2000: the electrolyte is circulated by a pulsator nozzle. * GalvanoTest 3000: large electrolyte volumes circulated by a circulation pump enable quick serial measurements. Suitable for use on very small parts and for the measurement of gold layers.

Devices in the MiniTest 700 series are our best sellers – and for good reason: they have diverse applications and deliver precise readings, all at unbeatable value for money. Overview of benefits: * Digital processing of readings by the sensor for quick results * Durable sensors for a long service life * Diverse range of applications for measuring coating thickness up to 35mm * Graphic menus and guide texts in 20 languages – ideal for use in a multi-national team Precision measuring instrument in 3 variants according to requirements The coating thickness gauge MiniTest 700 is available in 3 different models: MiniTest 725: The basic version with integrated sensor, a compact design and inexpensive. MiniTest 735: The standard version with the external sensor connected to the device by a cable to make measurement easy. MiniTest 745: The flexible version with interchangeable sensors that can be connected to the device either by cable or wirelessly via Bluetooth for greater freedom when measuring coating thickness. All three versions in the MiniTest 700 series enable the non-destructive measurement of coating thickness for non-magnetic coatings (paint, synthetic material, chrome and other electro-plated, non-magnetic coatings, etc.) on ferromagnetic substrates (steel/iron), and insulating coatings (lacquer, enamel, synthetic material, anodised aluminium, etc.) on conductive substrates (aluminium, copper, titanium, austenitic stainless steel). In addition, all devices are capable of two different measurement methods: Single mode: up to 70 readings per minute can be recorded and saved. Continuous mode: up to 20 coating thickness values per second are recorded. This allows you, for example, to identify thinnest and thickest points and the saving of readings in a measurement series.
